From Taos, NM, take Route 522 north to Costilla,
NM. At the Shamrock gas station, turn right (east) and follow the signs for the Costilla Plaza where you'll find the first stops of the Rio Costilla Studio Tour. |

From Alamosa, CO, take Route 160 east to Fort Garland. Turn right (south) on Route 159. Go past San Luis another 25 miles to Costilla, NM and proceed as above. |

From the Front Range, take La Veta Pass out of
Walsenburg, CO to Fort Garland. Turn left (south) on Route 159, past San Luis another 25 miles to Costilla, NM and proceed as above. |
