Welcome to the Rio Costilla Studio Tour website. We are a thriving group
of twenty-five plus artists and craftspeople living in the watershed of the Rio Costilla. Our homes are bordered by the magnificent Sangre de Christo mountains to the east and the Rio Grande gorge to the west at the southern edge of the beautiful San Luis Valley of Colorado and New Mexico. |

For the past ten years we have held our annual September studio tour in which we open our homes, studios and galleries to the public for two days of celebrating art and fine craft, good food, friendship, and renewal through art. Our work includes painting, print-making, photography, bronze sculpture, wood and stone carving, fine and rustic furniture, ceramics, African drums, artisan bread-baking, and a tour of spectacular wild flower fields in full bloom. |

We invite you to mark these dates down on your calendar, grab some friends or family, and drive out to our little piece of paradise for a weekend of enjoyment, fellowship and celebration of the arts. |
